Morenas, Joseph-Elzéar (*28. Aug. 1776 in Saint-Christol (Vaucluse), †26. Sept. 1830, Muri in Mingrelien [heute: Georgien]). - „Orientaliste. - Employé au Sénégal en qualité d'agriculteur botaniste” (Bibliothèque Nationale), „botaniste de profession, il devint orientaliste par passion et antiesclavagiste par conviction” (Wikipedia [fr]). - In den Personnamendaten der BNF wird 1778 als Geburtsjahr angegeben.
