Mādhavācārya (†1386). Variante Namen: Mādhava, Vidyāraṇya. Nach traditioneller Sicht Sohn von Śrīmatī und Māyaṇa aus dem Bhāradvājagotra, Bruder von Sāyaṇa und Bhoganātha. Seine Lehrer waren Vidyātīrtha, Bhāratītīrtha und Śrīkaṇṭha. Er war kulaguru und mantrin des Königs Bukkaṇa, der über Vijayanagara zwischen ca. 1356 bis 1377 herrschte.
